Associational Women on Missions
Welcome Ladies!
It is my prayer you are doing well! The next year promises to be an exciting one. The associational team has put together a calendar for you to access when you need to. WMU is CHANGING and GROWING! I know that may sadden some of you, but remember we must change or die out. WMU is and all will be about missions. Our mission is clear to help hurting people wherever/whenever we can. GOD has called all of us to be ON MISSION for him. There is alot of other new exciting things to capture our (and our children's) attention. As you will soon see, many churches have other programs than the standard GA's, RA's and Acteens. I want to encourage you in trying to incoporate some of the mission principles/concepts of the WMU. It can be customized and worked in IF we work at it. Please remember to pray and seek GOD's guidance in all you do.
God has called each of us to do his work, so LIVE THE CALL!

August 2008 - Christmas for the Troops
October 2008 - Red Shoe Box Ministry- Toothbrushes - Have into the Association Office by October 27th, 2008.
October 18, 2008 - Women on Mission Brunch- Box Car Grille in Claremont- 11:00 am - Dutch Treat- Party room reserved for CVBA Women.
November 1, 2008- Day Camp for GA's, RA's, Acteen, Children & Youth on Missions-Springs Rd Baptist Church - 9-12:00
Crafts, Missionaries, Snacks, Fun. Please bring canned foods and non-perishable items for the local food banks.
